Finding a chiropractor can be difficult! It turns out that not all chiropractors practice the same way or do the same things. While one may be a traditional “back cracker” dealing with neck and back pain, others consider themselves more “wholistic” and may not move your bones at all.

Sure they’re going to ask you about any trauma and other conditions that may stop them from working on you, but they need to address the area you’re concerned about.

Often they will have you bend this way or that to see which way makes a difference. If it hurts when you bend forward but not when you bend backward, that is usually related to a herniated disc.
